"My Tea's Gone Cold - A Magical Love story" was one of eight short plays selected for the Copenhagen Theatre Circle Fringe Festival 2024.
The story is a surrealist, queer Romcom, loosely inspired by the songs of Dido. It follows the dull life of Main character Dylan, a woman struggling with depression and joblessness. One morning she wakes up to find that her cat can talk, and it reveals that Dylan has magic powers.
At a bus stop she meets Tara, a woman recently discharged from psychiatric hospital with symptoms of hallucinations and psychosis, so when Tara catches Dylan doing magic, Dylan tries everything in her power to convince Tara that she is not just seeing things.
